OBITUARY

Jeffrey A. Price, age 56, of Geneva died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Mercy Center of Aurora surrounded by his family.

He was born November 4, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Milton and Joy Price. Jeff proudly worked for the City of Geneva as a wastewater operator for fourteen years and as plant manager for six years. He was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and choir for 26 years, was born to sing with a deep appreciation for music, always showed compassion for animals, and was a loving husband and father.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 37 years, JoAnne, two children, Vanessa (Michael) Peplowski of Hebron and Shawn (Jessica) of Geneva, his parents, Milton and Joy of Belvidere, two sisters, Kimberlee (Kevin) Keenon of Geneva and Pamela (Reinhard) Pilz of Batavia, a brother, Bradford (Lois) of Belvidere, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday from 3-8:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 West State Street, (Rt. 38), Geneva. Memorial mass will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 10th at Resurrection Catholic Church, Wayne. Rev. John Sponder is officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 South LaFox Road, South Elgin, Illinois 60177.
