OBITUARY
Eileen Brandli age 75, of St. Charles, died at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, July 10, 2010.She was born July 26, 1934 to Frank and Theresa McDonald, in New York, NY.
Eileen intended to go to nursing school after high school graduation, but met the love of her life, Jack, at a dance. They married and made their home in Westchester County, New York before moving to St. Charles in 1968. There they raised their five children. In the mid 70’s she resumed her education at Elgin Community College and Aurora University and became a registered nurse. She worked at Mercy Center, Aurora, and Roosevelt Square Nursing Home in Batavia where she became administrator for the facility. She continued her administrative career overseeing Home HealthCare Programs in Cleveland, OH. In 2005 they returned to make their home in St. Charles.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack, five children Judy (Frank) Juodis of Strum, WI, Jack (Mindy) Brandli, of Geneva, IL, Patrice (Matthew) Sawyer, of Wayne, IL, Susan (Peter) Campbell, of Wayne, IL, Chris (Patti) Brandli, of Crest Hill, IL, 17 grand-children, 6 great-grand-children, brother Frank (Diane) McDonald, of Budd Lake, NJ, sister Patricia Hamilton, of Hazlet, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son David Matthew.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Thursday July 15, 2010 at St. Patrick Crane Road Church. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8:00 P.M. Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, (corner of Rt. 25 & Rt. 64) St. Charles, IL 60174.
