"Sending love and prayers to Michele, the babies and all of Tom's loved ones.

Tom and I reconnected a few years ago when I was living in Libertyville. I saw his name plate in front of his office at the health club I belonged to. It was a great shock and happy surprise to see him there.

We went to lunch and caught up to where we both were at that time. He had actually just met Michele and was telling me how great she was. I recall that he was thrilled that she liked sports or at least would hang out an watch football!

It was such a joy to see him after so many years. What a wonderful man whom I'm glad to have known. My prayers are with all of you. Peace, dear Tom."

Jay Michalak from ROCKFORD IL

Sue Latino(Wolford) from South Beloit IL

"Michele,
I have so many good memories of Thomas, I was hired by Thomas and Josh Carlson for the Accountant position at NorthPointe. He was always so good to me. A week ago, I came across a box that I had been saving of all of the thank you notes that he had sent to me over the course of the two years that I worked with him. He was a very good man, and will be missed by all. My grandson was born the same day your twins were born, and we talked about that quite a bit. He was a wonderful boss, and friend.
May the Good Lord be with you and your babies during this very hard time, and you will always be in my prayers.
Sue Latino"

We've never met nor have I ever met Tom, but I am sending my deepest sympathy to you and your children.

Elaine,
We've lost touch but I would not miss the chance to say how very sorry I am to hear of the suddent death of your wonderful son,Tom. I always loved hearing about him when you and I worked together. You always wondered what he would end up doing, being, and if he'd be married. It sounds like he married a wonderful girl and was blessed with twins. My heart goes out to you now and always. Sending you many virtual hugs."

Lori Rinaldo from Rockton IL

"Michele, I am so sorry for your loss and was shocked to hear about Thomas. I worked for Power Wellness at NorthPointe and went to the same high school as Thomas. In 2007 Josh Carlson and I decided to play a joke on Thomas and I went to the local library to find pictures of him in his yearbook(when he had hair)and I copied his school pictures for all 4 years and enlarged them and we all presented them to him at NP. I expected him to laugh (or be miffed) but instead he was teary-eyed and thanked me for going through all that work and told me he had no pictures of himself from that time in his life. He asked me if he could take them home to show you and I told him there were for him to keep. I could tell how much he loved you, he talked about you often and always with a smile on his face. He is an amazing person and will be greatly missed! My best wishes for you and the kids. "

Mary & Charlie Raum from Rockford IL

"MIchele,
We were so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. Our hearts go out to you and your twins. We always enjoyed seeing the pictures he posted on Facebook of himself, you and the twins.

He lived on a street over from us growing up and we knew him since grade school. He dated our daughter throughout highschool and some of college. He was always such a gentleman. We lift you and your family up in prayer during this most difficut time and hope you can feel God surrounding you with his everlasting love. "

Nicole (Raum) Barker from Rockford IL

You and your children are in my thoughts and prayers. "

Jeanny (Cutting) Douglas from Mahomet IL

"Michele,
Although we have never met, my heart aches for you today.
Tom and I have known each other since kindergarten, lived a block away from each other in our childhood and have many high school memories together - including double dating to our senior prom (he was not my date, but he was dating my best friend). We also shared a birthday. Although we lost touch after high school, we since reconnected on Facebook and I was so thrilled for you both when the twins arrived. It was so fun to reconnect.
Please know that you will be in my prayers continually. I wish that I could make the funeral, but we will be in northern WI.
Tom will be greatly missed!!! I'm praying!!!"
