"Dear Megan When we find that special person, they remain in our hearts forever! Joe was your Special guy, and we know how much love you both shared. All your conversations included “Your Joe” with entertaining tales of treasure hunts, dancing to old records, collecting unusual but totally cool things and having someone to share visiting all those interesting places. A fond farewell to your All American Guy, Joe will missed but will remain forever in our memories. Our deepest condolences to you and Joe’s family! Best Regards, Norman & Marion"

"Joe was always so great about finding cool things (coins, flags, shirts) at yard sales and such, and sending me thoughtful gifts. I will miss sending him license plates I'd find for the fence in Wisconsin, and he telling me how irritating Cubs fans are. Love you brother Joe!"
