Ricardo Tochimani was 60 years old when he passed on May 7, 2020. He grew up in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico up to the point where he became a father. He then moved to Illinois, where he mostly lived in St. Charles.

Ricardo was a loving husband to Rosalia Tochimani, an amazing father to Arturo, Aureliano, Martina and Quetzalli, and a tremendous grandfather to seven grandchildren ranging from ages from 16 years old to a baby that is days away from being born. Ricardo, not only took care for his children, but he dearly cared for his nephews and nieces as well.

Through time, Ricardo morphed from a tough serious guy to an approachable human being, especially when he told all his “dad jokes” to anyone he encountered. Ricardo’s character was built beginning from his father passing away when he was only one year old, then his mother passed in 1989. With his determination he came to the US to seek a better live for his family. His children did not waste time doing their best to excel in everything they did and still do. They want to ensure his hard work, hard times, and grit is not going to waste.

Visitation will be held Wednesday May 13, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Yurs Funeral Home in St.Charles. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 P.M. at St.Patrick Downtown Church in St.Charles. Burial afterwards at Oak Hill Cemetery. For further questions please call Yurs Funeral Home, 630-584-0060.
