Judith Gearen age 71, of St. Charles formerly River Grove, IL passed away October 18, 2018 at her home.
She was born October 29, 1946 in Chicago, IL. to John and Helen Sergey.
She raised six children and helped them raise her ten wonderful grandchildren.
She is survived by her five children, Edward (Marvett) Gearen of Hampshire, Gabriel Gearen of Rosemont, Michelle (Sean) Gearen – Henson of Aurora, Jason Gearen of St. Charles and Sara (Bryan) Holing of Geneva, ten grandchildren, brother John Michael (Pamela McGrath) Sergey, and sisters; Deb (Steve) Boisse, Ruth (Gregg) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward T. Gearen III and son William “Bil” Gearen.
Visitation will be 9-11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street, Geneva, IL 60134. A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva, IL. Contributions may be made in Judith’s memory to Northwestern Medicine Hospice.
