Charmayne Lydia Owen, age 81, of St. Charles passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois.
She was born August 9, 1944 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Bernard and Erma Schoppe.
Mrs. Owen is survived by two children, Justine (Jack) Detzel and James Owen, four grandchildren, Marlena (Austin) Hrubec, Andra Detzel, Alec Detzel, and Aaliyah Morlock, a great-grandson, Rhett Hrubec, a sister, Bev Tasche, a brother, Dean (Sandy) Schoppe, and a son-in-law, Kevin (Joan) Morlock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her life partner, Randy Morlock and her brother-in-law, Wally Tasche.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 4th from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, (corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25), St. Charles. Funeral service will follow on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
