Jan Fregulia, age 80, passed away December 22, 2025. She was born on January 12, 1945, in London, Ontario, Canada, to James and Joyce Higgins.

Jan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she married the love of her life, Frank Fregulia, on November 7, 1964.

Jan dedicated much of her life to the Loyal Order of Moose, joining Petaluma Lodge in 1968. Over the years, she held numerous leadership roles, including Senior Regent of Petaluma Lodge and Deputy Grand Regent for the State of California from 1987 to 1988.

At the international level, Jan served Moose International as Sports and Ritual Director from 1996 to 2004, Grand Chancellor from 2005 to 2008, and Executive Director of Moose Charities from 2008 until her retirement in 2018. Her leadership left a lasting impact on the organization and the countless lives touched through its charitable work.

Jan is survived by her son, Frank Fregulia Jr.; her daughter, Donna Fregulia; her partner, Donna Cordello; her daughter-in-law, Daniela Fregulia; her grandson, John Fregulia; and her great-grandchildren, Michael and Paige Fregulia. She was a constant source of love, guidance, and strength to her family, who will cherish her memory always.

She was preceded her in death by her husband Frank Fregulia on August 30, 2014.

A visitation will be held Tuesday December 30th from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 West State Street, Geneva, IL 60134.
