"I could not believe that Ryan had passed away when I found out the news. He was in my Gifted Project Groups at Prairie View Grade School. He was sharp, curious, motivated, and an all around great guy. One of my great memories was Ryan so enjoyed our classroom work on the XX Winter Olympics in 2006. I, also, opened up my classroom for students to come in, eat their lunches, and watch the Olympics on TV. Ryan was always there, eyes glued to the screen, and had many questions about the events. He would stop by, first thing in the morning, to tell me what he saw the night before on TV. My husband, Steve, and I just saw him 3 years ago after he had worked on our car. Ryan recognized me and was floored to see me and we caught up with his life. That meeting will always stay with me. Ryan has a special place in Heaven as he has a special place in my heart and with other people he met. He will always be remembered. God Bless Ryan and his family."

"Ryan was an important part of my life back in high school. He was insightful and wise beyond his years, with a quick wit and an infectious personality. Ryan was the embodiment of a man well before his time. He was tender hearted to those he loved, stood up for what he believed was right, and had a natural talent for cars. Ryan was my first muse, and inspired much of my initial years of poetry. He taught me about perseverance and resilience during tough times in my younger life. I’ve never met another person with a bad word in their mouth about Ryan, and always looked back on my memories of him with deep fondness. Over the years, though we no longer stayed in touch, I admired his path in life through his service to the nation, his family, his steadfast girlfriend Karli, and to himself. Ryan has left lifelong impacts on countless people, and will be honored and remembered by all those who knew him for as long as we live. My deepest condolences to the Hresil family, Karli, and all who loved him during this tremendous loss. Rest easy Ryan.1. summer stripping all souls bare blue eyes shine against blue skies this is happiness"
