Eugene Bouchard Obituary
Eugene Anthony “Gene” Bouchard, 94, formerly of Wheaton, Illinois, passed away on
April 18, 2026, in St. Charles, Illinois. Born November 22, 1931, in Clifton, New Jersey,
he lived a life devoted to family, country, and career.
Gene graduated from Montclair State University with a BA degree and was a proud
member of the Gamma Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta Pi. He proudly served in the
U.S. Army in Germany. He spent most of his career with General Electric in auditing and
finance roles across the country, and later worked briefly for W.W. Grainger.
He loved to travel and found great joy in exploring new places.
Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; his brother, Paul; and his sister, Clair.
He is survived by his son, Scott (Shaunna); his daughter, Suzette Turyna; as well as
many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, from 6–8 PM at Yurs Funeral Home in St.
Charles. A Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, April 23 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick
Church on Crane Road.
