Mary Angela Maher, age 76, of St. Charles passed away Friday, May 29, 2026 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.
She was born August 15, 1949 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to Robert J. and Rose M. Cummins.
Mary is survived by her husband, Edward, two children, Daniel (Amy) and Kathleen (Jason) Griffey, four grandchildren, Max and Molly Griffey, A.J. and Emily Maher, two sisters, Patricia Watts and Joan (Roger) Anderson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kathleen Greifenstein,
Funeral mass will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, June 4th at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 East Main Street, (Rt. 64), St. Charles. Private internment will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-8:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, (Rt. 64), St. Charles.
