Obituaries

Rebecca Mungove, age 85, of Batavia, formerly of St. Charles and Berwyn, passed away peacefully on June 21 st surrounded by her loving family after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was a graduate of Wells High School and a retired 25-year employee of Commonwealth Edison. She attended Chapel Street Church in Geneva where she enjoyed Bible classes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and June Rensinghoff, brother Otto, sister Ida, loving partner Roger Bastic and ex-husband Mario Mungove.

Beloved mother of Sharon (Todd) Billings and Karen (Mark) Lisowski. Proud Grandmother of Kimberly (Mike) McCormack and Brittany (Jared) Vera. Devoted great grandmother of Jack and Emma
McCormack.

Loving sister of Gretel and Fred. Dear aunt and great aunt of many. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She had a kind and generous heart, always putting others beforeherself. Her strength and devotion to her family and faith will never be forgotten.

Per her wishes, no formal services will be held.
