Obituaries

Elida Mingo, age 66, of Batavia passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 at her home.

She was born January 22, 1960 in Zemblak, Korce, Albania to Tomor and Mynever Kulla.

Mrs. Mingo is survived by her husband, Hajet, a son, Tony (Adelina) Vaka, two grandchildren, Bianca and Kaya Vaka, a brother, Ylli (Lenca) Kulla and a sister, Zana (Ladi) Shaholli.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 8^th at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 West State Street, (Rt. 38), Geneva.  Burial will be at West Batavia Cemetery, Batavia.  Visitation will be Tuesday July 7th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 11-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
