Kenneth T. Bluett, 73, of Marengo, IL passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 8, 1952 to Thomas and Dolores Bluett in Chicago, IL. He married Mary Ann Wisniewski on March 13, 1982 and they had two children, Thomas and Jennifer. He worked as an electrician and retired from IBEW L.U. 134, 12 years ago.
Ken was a devoted member of the Catholic Church. Ken and Mary Ann were members at St. Patrick Church in St. Charles, IL for many years. Ken then continued on his devotion at St.
Mary Catholic Church in Huntley, IL.
Ken was an active member of the Odd Fellows Club in Sycamore, IL. He enjoyed the regular meetings, motorcycle rides and charity events they put on over the years. He spent his winters at his Florida house in Fort Myers. He enjoyed his grandchildren visiting and sitting on his screened in lanai.
He is survived by two children, Jennifer (Mike) LaCure of Newport News, VA, Thomas (Becky) Bluett of Elburn, IL. Four grandchildren, Abbie LaCure, Mason Bluett, Hudson Bluett, and Haven Bluett. Two brothers, Michael (Denise) Bluett of Fox Lake, IL and Paul Bluett of Joliet, IL. Companion, Julie Jackson of Marengo, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Bluett, sister Kathleen Mowery, and parents Thomas and Dolores Bluett.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, July 21st at St Patrick Catholic Church on Crane Road, St. Charles, IL. Burial will be at Prairie Cemetery in St. Charles, Illinois. Visitation will be at 11:30 A.M. until the time of mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Crane Road, St. Charles, IL. Donations can be made to the Catholic Church of your choice.
