Andrea Trybus passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 24, 2026 at the age of 82.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1944 to Harvey and Dorothy LaPrise, Andrea was affectionately known as “June,” a nickname inspired by television mother June Cleaver. The name suited her well, as she lived with kindness, grace, faith, strength, and a generous heart. Her warm smile and welcoming nature made friends, neighbors, and visitors alike feel like family.

Andrea shared more than 50 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Tom Trybus, until his passing in 2020. Together, they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family.

She was the devoted mother of Jill, Steven (Sara), and David (Blake), and the loving grandmother of Mitchell, Alexa, and Jack. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and brothers Gary LaPrise, Bill LaPrise, and Tom LaPrise. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom.

Andrea loved gardening, long walks, time by the water, lunches with friends, girls’ trips, and new experiences. She was also an accomplished golfer who recorded three holes-in-one—two more than her husband and three more than all her children combined. Some would say she was the best golfer in the family.

Andrea will be remembered for her resilience, humor, kindness, and unconditional love. She leaves behind a family grounded in the values she lived every day and countless people whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with Tom, the love of her life. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30 from Noon to 1:00 P.M. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in St. Charles with the Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 P.M. All who knew and loved Andrea are welcome. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Charles, next to her husband Tom and the fourth hole of her favorite golf course.
