Patricia Ann Walker
November 4, 1932 - August 3, 2026
Patricia Bankson Walker, 93, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026. Patricia spent most of her life in the St. Charles area, with time also enjoyed in Florida and Tennessee.
Patricia was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walker; her daughter, Kathleen Wayt; her sister, Charlotte Meek; her grandson, Josh Wilkins.
She is survived by her children, Renee Eppard, Debbie Smrz, Rob Walker and his wife, Marsha, Melissa Walker, Jon Walker and his wife, Karen, and Michael Walker and his wife, Lisa. She was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Patricia’s greatest joy was her family. She especially loved watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren play sports and was always their enthusiastic supporter. She had an unbelievable positive energy and a wonderful smile that brightened the lives of everyone around her.
An avid golfer, bridge player, and quilter, Patricia loved staying active and embracing life. She also leaves behind treasured family traditions, including her famous chocolate birthday cake and thumbprint cookies, recipes that will continue to be enjoyed by generations to come.
Patricia lived life with joy, enthusiasm, and an extraordinary love for her family. Her warmth, optimism, smile, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
