Albert Simeth was the strongest, bravest, courageous, kindest, honest and most hardworking man. Anyone who was lucky enough to know him, even if for just a short time, felt the abundance of love he could give. Albert is known by many as “Opa”, which in German means Grandpa. He was the greatest Opa, and not just to his four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, but to everyone. Opa was always ready to lend a helping hand no matter how big or small the task or need was. We all will cherish and remember the wonderful stories he shared of Germany. Stories about his childhood and how life was growing up. Opa had so many jokes, laughs and an endless smile to share with everyone. The knowledge he has passed on through generations, as well as his spirit and legacy, will live on through the family he helped build and through the life-long friendships he made.
