Annette J. LaTart, age 74, of Elgin, Illinois passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.

She was born February 18, 1951 in New York City, New York to Joseph and Nancy Tesoriero.

Annette is survived by her three children, Nancy (her partner Bertrand Simon) LaTart, Richard LaTart and Jaclyn (Tim) Davis, three grandchildren, Rhea, Reece and Rocco, a sister, Celeste (Edward) Carey, a brother, Gregory Tesoriero, a niece, Christina and two nephews, Edward and Joseph.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Annette graduated from high school at Our Lady of Mercy in Syosset, NY and went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Education from the State University of New York, Oswego. She pursued many different lines of work, ranging from early-childhood education, insurance sales and commercial real estate, volunteer involvement as a youth soccer coach and Boy Scouts den mother, and of course raising her three children, Nancy, Richard and Jaclyn. Annette had many interests and hobbies, and was a fiercely loyal friend. But above all, her most favorite job was being Nonna to Rhea, Reece and Rocco.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 29th at St. Patrick Crane Road Church, 4N491 Crane Road, St. Charles. The burial will be at Prairie Cemetery in St. Charles. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 28th from 4-8:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 West State Street, (Rt. 38), Geneva. In lieu of flowers, Annette would want you all to donate to the RNC or at the family’s suggestion Starting Hearts (startinghearts.org), a CPR training course specializing in citizen responders.
