Anthony D. Nessie, Jr. age 88 of South Elgin, died March 6, 2024, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva.

He was born June 13, 1935, in Oak Park, Il. The son of the late Anthony and Carmella Nessie.

In earlier years he enjoyed the outdoors camping, boating, and snowmobiling.

He was a loyal member of Cement Masons Local 502 for over 55 years.

He is survived by his wife, Paula, Three children, Anthony III, Donna Manzella, and Jennifer (Michael) Caliendo. Also, two grandchildren, Anthony Manzella and Michael Caliendo III.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 West State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.  The burial will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
