Arthur J. Fisher Jr. age 91, of Geneva passed away July 17, 2017. He was born in Geneva, to Arthur and Sarah Fisher. He and Eleanor lived and worked on the family dairy farm in Geneva Township for 57 years, and renovated and restored the 153 year-old brick home. The family farm was subdivided in 1999, and became one of Geneva’s first major subdivision know as Fisher Farms. Art was a member of the Geneva Rotary Club and the Geneva Historical Society where he contributed a lifetime of Geneva historical information.

He is survived by two children, Daniel Fisher of West Chicago, Diana (Richard) Jennings of Batavia, New York, one grandson, Richard Jennings, sister-in-law Bonnie (Dennis) Ardelean-Nass, special friend Victoria Naughton and many friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Eleanor, and sister Marion Windett.

Visitation will be 9 to 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 21, 2017, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church 101 S. 6th Avenue, St. Charles, IL 60174, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva, IL. Contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
