Beatrice (Evelyn) Thorn born December 22,1923 age 95, passed away at the Robins Nest,Geneva Illinois January 20,2019.
She had 6 brothers and sisters, she retired from the department of defense after 40 years of service.
She is proceeded in death her husband ,Arthur Les Thorn,her son Johnny Thorn, and grandson David J Thorn as well as all her siblings. She is survived by her son, Jimmy A Thorn,Daughter-in-law Elizabeth Thorn of St Charles Illinois and 5 grandchildren, Kelley J Thorn, New Port Richey Florida, Joe Thorn, St Charles Illinois ,Darren Becker,Ft Atkins Wisconsin, Michelle Kalas, Cortland Illinois and Ellen Cody Springfield Illinois,14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was loved by everyone who’s lives she touched. She was a loving and caring person who always gave greatly of her time,advice and most importantly her love. She will be deeply missed by all,and we will strive to honor her by caring on her good works and deeds. And as Grandma (Evelyn) told her granddaughter Kelley… BE KIND, which sums how she lived her life.
