Bruce B. Currie, 75, Geneva, died September 10, 2021 at Delnor Hospital Geneva.
He was born October 11, 1945 in Springfield, Il. The son of the late Samuel and Jeanne Currie.
He is survived by his son, Rob. Two sisters, Luanne (Clark) Blade of Rochester, Il. Jeanie (Don) Unterbrink of Orlando, Florida. Also, a brother, Robert Currie of Springfield, Il. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Bruce received his Associate degree from Joliet Community College and his Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State College class of 1975. He then went on to become a Parole Officer at Kane County Correctional Center until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary. Also his in laws Russell and Virginia Phillips.
Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, September 18th from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Memorial Services will follow at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the West School Organization; Sycamore, IL. or Northern Illinois Food Bank or the Charity of the Donor’s choice.
