Clinton Kenneth Arlis
Clint passed away on January 11, 2022. Born July 29th 1987 he was the beloved son of Tom and Jamie Arlis of Batavia Illinois, Clint was the protective loving older brother of Taylor and a best friend and fishing buddy to his younger brother Logan.
Clint was a 2005 graduate of Batavia High School. He was a captain of the Bulldog wrestling team, a fierce competitor with an extraordinary work ethic who lead his teammates and those who followed to record breaking seasons.. Clint continued his wrestling career at the University of Illinois earning the 157 Varsity spot his senior year and placed 7th in the Big 10 tournament.
Clint studied Architecture as an undergraduate and received a dual Masters degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering, graduating with honors.
Clints true passion was nature, he was an avid outdoorsman who thrived on fishing and tracking down any and all reptiles he could catch, study, photograph, and release, but especially turtles.
Clint was a powerful force with an infectious personality that attracted old and young alike, fun loving and sincere, his group of friends increased exponentially from grade school, through high school, into college, and beyond. His magnetism was undeniable. He was a blessing to not only his parents and siblings, but also to his extended family including his grandmother Eleanor Schaub, brother-in-law, JP Lulek (Taylor) and soon to arrive neice/nephew, along with a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.

"Tragic news. There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. Life is cruel and there is no reason Clint shouldn’t still be with us. Gone too soon. RIP Clint ❤️"
Nancy French from Geneva, IL
"Tom, Jamie, Taylor and Logan, I was so sorry to hear about the very sad and tragic news of Clint’s death. I can only imagine how stressful these days have been for you and your family. When children die the world seems unnatural, unfair and unthinkably cruel. We parents expect to die before our children; it seems the "right" order of things. When the death of a child occurs - an empty space remains. Life goes on, but it takes a new form. In times of pain and loss, God is our greatest comfort. Blessings."
RC (Cannon) Dear from Atlanta, GA
