Daniel John Collins, 36, of Cortland Illinois, passed away Saturday February 13th, 2021. He was greatly loved by his parents, fiancé, children, and granddaughter.
He was born to John & Linda Collins on September 1st, 1984.
Dan was a field supervisor and licensed plumber for Precision Today Plumbing for a total of 13 years. He was known to be extremely knowledgeable in his field and was the one many would call when they needed help.
He was a fun-loving guy who was often making jokes to make the people around him laugh. He was always there to help solve any problem and offer a helping hand.
In his free time, Dan enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to cook and bake with his fiancé. He was a huge Chicago Cubs fan and attended games often. Dan loved to take long drives in his Jeep with the top off while listening to music.
He is survived by his grandparents Norris and Jean (Mead), parents John and Linda (Collins), fiancé Michele (King), daughters Alexa and Bailey (Collins), stepchildren Michael and Jacklyn (King), brother Michael (Hettinger), sister Megan (Collins), and granddaughter Madeline (Crocello).
Viewing and visitation service will be held from 3pm-8pm, Thursday February 18th, 2021 at Yurs Funeral Homes of Geneva, 1771 W. State Street, Geneva IL 60134.
Donations in Dan’s memory may be made to American Heart Association.
