Diane Anna Erickson passed away Monday, May 17, surrounded by her loving family.

The oldest daughter of Alfred and Lucille Hanschmann, Diane was born on December 31, 1943, in Chicago, IL.  On July 17, 1965, she married James Erickson at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Chicago.

Diane is survived by her husband James; five children – Thomas (Debbi), Laura (Jeff) Brick, Donald (Carrie), Kathleen, and Steven (Alicia); twelve grandchildren – Kristine (David) Scofield, Daniel (Jackie) Roberts, Tyler (Doleah) Nix, Cameron, Benjamin, Ethan, Reece, Emma, Krystin, Sam, Shane, and Riley; four great-grandchildren – Lillyan, Beck, Nathan, and Brooklyn; her brother Alfred (Josie) Hanschmann and sister Linda Krottner; and dear nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass  will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 19, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva, IL. 60134.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation at allbloodcancers.org
