"Don Nagel and his wonderful family came into our life in 2015. We hired Don and his sons to transform our home and they exceeded our expectations. But more importantly, the Nagel family became our friends. Don was honest. kind, funny and a wonderful human being. It is so hard for me to believe he is gone. When I lost my wife, he and his family were always there to support me. I know how much he will be missed by all who knew him. All of my thoughts and prayers are with the Nagel family during this very difficult time."
Audrey Kovach from Saint Charles, IL
"The Nagel’s are the best people! Big Don was one of the best goofy guys I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Words cannot express how much he will be missed. I’m grateful to have known him."

"Sending our heartfelt thoughts, prayers, love and condolences to Mary Dawn and the rest of the family. Don and his boys have done numerous house projects for my family throughout the years and their work was always top notch. Don was a true joy to be around always and will be missed sorely."
Ruth Conniff from Port St Lucie , FL
"I've had the pleasure of knowing Don and his family since the mid 1980's when we were next door neighbors. Over the years our families became close friends. One fond memory was all of us sitting around their table enjoying bakery donuts while chit chatting for hours. I thoroughly enjoyed Don's sense of humor. He was always kidding around which made us smile! He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary Dawn and family at this time."
George Fischer from Elmhurst, IL
"I have many great memories of Don. I (George, one of Mary's younger brothers) and my family will miss you.Back many years ago, when Don and Mary were dating, I was about 9 years old, and I remember Don taking me on his early morning paper route. He picked me up at about 4 am. But, first we had to stop at a local bakery before they opened. (He must have know the owners.) It was so cool seeing the donuts being made. Don told me at the time that it was his daily routine to go there before going on his route."
