Obituaries

Edward T. Gearen III, age 71, of St. Charles formerly Forest Park, Il. Died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his home.
He was born August 8, 1946 in Oak Park, Il. The son of the late Edward and Gloria Gearen.
He worked for Emery Air Freight in the Teamsters Local 705 for 27 years prior to retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Judith. His five children, Edward (Marvett) Gearen of Hampshire, Gabriel Gearen of Rosemont, Michelle Gearen of Aurora, Jason Gearen of St. Charles and Sara (Bryan) Holing of Geneva. Ten grandchildren. Also, Seven sisters, Darlene, Cathy, Gloria, Jenny, Donna, Gaye, and Pat. Two brothers, Kenny and Dave.
He was preceded in death by his son, William J. Gearen and a sister, Peggy and a brother, William.
Visitation will be held Saturday, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Bob Huerta officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Geneva.
