Elizabeth Ann McGuane (Betty) 75 of Huntley IL and Green Valley Az. passed away peacefully at Sherman Hospital on June 1, 2022.
The visitation service will be held on Sat. June 4, 2020 from 2-5 pm with funeral service at 5pm at Yurs 1771 W. State St. Geneva IL 60134.
Betty was born in Belize on June 18, 1946. Betty moved to Oak Park IL when she was 13 and graduated from Oak Park High school. Betty was married to Jim on May 29, 1965 and would of celebrated 57 years of marriage. She worked and retired from the United State Post office but her greatest accomplishment was raising her family. Betty was a twin weighing one pound at birth, her brother didn’t survive. Betty came into this world a fighter and vowed she would leave this world fighting and that’s what she did. She loved life and had the will to live. She overcame many health battles throughout her life.
She was a loving mother of three children: Kathy (Raj) Chabria, Colleen (Peter) Judickas and Bill McGuane.
She adored and was so proud of her seven grandchildren. Jarrad and Delaney (Chabria), Emma, Cole and Aiden (Judickas) and Miranda and Mia.
Betty was the beloved daughter of the late Seymour and Tracy Gabb. Dear sister of Stephen, John (Sue), Lawrence, Kathryn (Draper) and Sandy (Micheal) Spatafore. A loving aunt and friend to many.
Betty was a woman of faith who loved with her whole heart. She lived her life for her family and was an example of kindness, selflessness and strength throughout her life. She was the best of the best and to know her is to love her. She will be missed dearly and will live in our hearts forever.
