Rosina Garro passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 80 years young.
She was born on July 18, 1937 to Francesco and Annina (Imbrogno) Garro in Castrolibero, Cosenza; a small village in southern Italy.
Rosina married Peter Perrelli on January 18, 1959 and shortly after immigrated to the United States.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Virginia (Shawn) Perrelli-Fritz, adoring granddaughters, Christina (Marco) Castillo, Kelley Knudson, and Natalia Knudson. Her loving brothers, Pietro (Christina) Garro and Carmine (Ada) Garro and her beloved nieces and nephews, Anne Marie (Keith) Mastromatteo, Frank Garro, Robert (Dori) Garro, Richard (Anna) Garro, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins living all over the world.
Please join us in celebrating her life at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 W. State Street (Rt. 38) in Geneva, IL on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. There will be a service at St. Patrick’s Downtown Church, 400 Cedar Street in St. Charles on Thursday at 10:30 A.M.
