George Rosen, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2025. He was 82. Born in Chicago on November 24, 1942, George lived a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering loyalty.
For 59 years, George shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Mindy. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect.
George was a man of many admirable qualities. He possessed a quick wit and a natural talent for storytelling. His kindness and generous spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Above all, George was fiercely loyal to his family and friends, cultivating deep and lasting relationships that spanned decades.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, enjoying rounds of golf, games of tennis, and peaceful fishing trips. He cherished the time spent with his loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
George will be deeply missed by his wife, Mindy; his children, Cara, Thom, Mike, Mary, and Bill; his brother, Fred; his 8 grandchildren, Gabby, Jules, Madi, Lucas, Garron, Jack, Keil, and Sam; and a host of extended family and friends. His legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A party celebrating George’s life is being planned for a later date.
