Obituary
Gerard Seyler, age 70, of Elburn, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 16, 1947 in Paris, France. The son of the late Peter and Janine Seyler.
Gerard attended Illinois Institute of Technology earning at B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
He is survived by his wife Carmen. Children, Jeanne (Fred) Allen of Gilberts Il. Jennifer (Eric) Griffin of Elmhurst, and Peter Seyler of St. Charles. His grandchildren, Wylie Allen of Gilberts, Casey Allen of Gilberts, Major Griffin of Elmhurst, and Levi Griffin of Elmhurst. Also his sister, Sylvia (Joseph) Strazz of Fountain Hills, AZ and a brother, Bruce Seyler of Walkerton, IN.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8:00 PM Friday at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Geneva. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave Dallas TX. 75231
