Heather Rae Staudacher (‘nee Elliott), 47, died Sunday October 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was greatly loved by her husband, children, family, and many friends.
The daughter of David Elliott and Kathleen Kvarta Adamson, she was born on December 15, 1973 in Hammond, Indiana. On May 14, 2005, she married Mark A. Staudacher at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Batavia, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her father David W. Elliott, her grandparents Andrew and Eleanor Kvarta, and Robert Todd Elliott and Eleanor Jane Elliott Muncaster, and her uncle Robert Todd Elliott, Jr. and aunt Barbara A. Kvarta Swett.
She is survived by her husband Mark, sons Jake (24) and Chase (13) and daughter Olivia (13), sister Heidi Kinder, mother Kathleen (Harry) Adamson, Uncle R. Hugh (Nancy and cousin Chad) Elliott, Aunt Jude (Ron) Todd, Aunt Mary Sawochka, Uncle Andrew (Lesa) Kvarta and many cousins, and in-laws.
She was a graduate of Geneva High School and received her Associates Degree in Management at the College of DuPage. She, through her hard work and dedication, rose through the ranks of the Property Tax Division within BP Amoco before deciding to dedicate her time and energy to raising and running the Staudacher family.
Heather doted on, and devoted her time to, her three children. Their activities were HER activities, whether it was football, basketball, taekwondo, triathlon or golf. The activity which consumed the majority of her time, however, was Olivia’s dance company and then competitive dance team. The dancers and parents of the M&M Dance Studio and Empower Dance Company became her extended family.
She was a long-time resident of Elburn, Illinois, and was an active member of St. Gall Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. Gall Catholic Church, 43W885 Hughes Road, Elburn, Illinois 60119 with Father DiTomo officiating. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 15, 2021 at Yurs Funeral Home of Geneva located at 1771 West State Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134.
Donations in Heather’s memory may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
