James Bernard McGuane (Jimmy), 78 of Huntley, IL passed away peacefully in his home on Sept 11, 2020. The visitation service will be held on Sept 16, 2020 from 3-8pm. Funeral service at 7pm at Yurs 1771 W. State St. Geneva IL 60134.

Jim was born in Chicago IL on Oct 6, 1941 and graduated from Austin High school in Chicago IL. Hew was married to Elizabeth (Gabb) on May 29, 1965 they were married for 55 years. Jim worked as a supervisor at AT&T. He enjoyed his boat, fishing, golfing and was a huge Cub fan. He was a veteran and served in the Army and was actively involved in the American Legion.

He was a loving father of 3 children: Kathy (Raj) Chabria, Colleen (Pete) Judickas and Bill (Karolina) McGuane.

He was a proud grandfather of Jarrad and Delaney (Chabria), Emma, Cole and Aiden (Judickas) Miranda and Mia.

Jim was the beloved son of the late James and Jeanette (Miller) McGuane. Dear brother of Maureen (Ring) John and Jeannie (Herbert). Loving uncle and friend to many.

Jim was completely devoted to his family and was adored by all. With his larger than life personality and wicked sense of humor he kept us all entertained until the end. He will be dearly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
