Obituaries

Jean B. Bestvina, age 86, of Batavia, died Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva.
She was born August 19, 1931 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Edward and Irene Krystosek.
Jean was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Prospect Heights. She had been a Eucharistic Minister, and was a volunteer and member of PADS.
She is survived by her six children, Bonnie (Joe) Schneller of Palatine, Robert (Terri) Bestvina of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mark (Denise) Bestvina of Arlington Heights, Barbara (Wayne) Leisio of St. Charles, Annie (Jim) Olney of South Carolina, also her daughter in law, Cindy Bestvina. Thirteen grand children, and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin and a son, David Bestvina.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Crane Road Church 6N491 Crane Road St. Charles. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M on Tuesday. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
