John D. Rudolph, 54, raised in Rockford, IL and currently living in Geneva, IL passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, with his family by his side. He was born on August 15, 1964 and he married his wife Nancie on March 12, 1988 in Rockford. John enjoyed cooking, playing cards, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. He lived his life to the fullest and brightened every room he entered. He was always the life of the party and met new people everywhere he went.
John is survived by his wife, Nancie; children, Kelsie, Dylan and future daughter-in-law Haley Morris; sister Jeanne (Chuck) Lee; brother Tony Rudolph; step-father, Cliff Retzke. He is predeceased by his mother Bette Retzke. John’s family would like to say a special thank you to the Delnor CCU nurses; Katie, Megan and Chelsea.
A memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W State St, Geneva, Illinois 60134. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. at Yurs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John’s memory to the American Heart Association.
A celebration of life will follow the Memorial Service at Tribella Grill 1900 Mill St, Batavia, Illinois 60510. All are welcome to join for food and drinks in John’s memory.
