"Dear Karla and family, we were saddened to learn of John's passing! He was a dear friend to us and to my parents (Barb and Mom were in each other's weddings). John was a frequent lunch partner during our years in Geneva, visited us in Northfield whenever he was in town and always sent a Christmas card. He served his God well and faithfully and was a gentle soul who cared about all. He will live on in our hearts forever! So sorry for your loss!"
