Obituary
Judith Carpenter, 97, of Belleair Beach , Florida formerly of Elmwood Park, Il. died September 3, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center, St. Charles.
She was born May 8, 1920 in Chicago.
She was a graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School.
In Florida, she was a Past President of the Belleair Women’s Republicans Club, The Pennellas County Republican Executive Committee and past Chairmen of the Belleair Beach Park Board.
She is survived by her son, Richard “Dickâ€(Kathleen) Carpenter of Elgin, three grandchildren, Joy (Eric) Larson, Dawn Samet, and Dean Carpenter, and Also six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver. Also, a son, William Carpenter.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday at Yurs Funeral Home Geneva. Burial will be at Mt. Emblem Cemetery Elmhurst.
