Judith Marie Morgan, 75, died suddenly Thursday, December 7, 2017 in her home in West Chicago, IL. A loving daughter, mother, and treasured grandmother, Judy was born on February 24, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Thomas White and Phyllis Cornell. She had three brothers and grew up in Elmhurst, IL. She was an avid swimmer and joined the swim team in high school. Judy was always happiest by the water and continued to swim with her dearest high school friend all the way until her last weeks on earth.
Judy married in 1962 and had 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls). She moved to Addison, IL with her growing family and raised her children on a farmette where they enjoyed many hours playing in nature and swimming in the backyard pool. Later the family moved to Wheaton, IL, where Judy went to college to earn her draftsman’s degree from College of DuPage. She was self-employed and worked tirelessly to give the best life she could to her children.
She is survived by her son Glenn (Dorene) Morgan of Naperville; daughter Jennifer Schrank of Elgin; son Charles (Shelly) Morgan of Plano; and daughter Margaret Erickson of Geneva, as well as her grandchildren Glenn Morgan, Jr., Jacquelyn (Tony) Clarke, Bradley Schrank, Evan Morgan, James Morgan, Kevin MacPhail, Zachary Erickson, Natalie Erickson and Sydney Erickson.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 PM followed by a short service at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 W. State Street (Route 38) Geneva, IL. If you wish, donations can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
