Kathy was an amazing person who touched many lives and left a lasting impression on everyone, lighting up any room she entered. She had a passion for life and was the pillar of the family that everyone would lean on. Kathy is survived by her husband, Glen; son, Gregory of Plainfield, IL; and daughter, Jennifer (Jason) of Elburn, IL. She was a loving grandmother to granddaughters, Ashley and Elizabeth and grandsons, Lance and Joseph. She is also survived by her two sisters, Linda (Jeff) Langreder, Judy (Jon) Schaefer, nephews Jonathan (Kim) and Jared Schaefer, many cousins, friends; and her dog Red. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother Francis and her father, Walter; mother-in-law, Theodora; father-in-law George; her grandparents; as well as her dogs Cody and Hayley and horses Parker and Sammy. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, at St. Gall Catholic Church located at 43W885 Hughes Road, Elburn, IL, from 9am-Noon, with mass and funeral services following.
