Marion L. Berry was born June 22, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois, and entered into eternal life on May 15, 2021. Marion has lived in Geneva Illinois for 68 years. She married Jack Berry, the love of her life, August 30, 1941. Marion retired in 1997 after 40 years with the Geneva School District. She was considered the dean of GHS secretaries. Marion never retired from life enjoying time visiting her family across the United States. Marion was an avid Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Bulls fan. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Jack, and her parents Marie and Erik Friberg. Those left to cherish her memory include her 2 daughters, Linda and Patti, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great, great-grandchildren. Her legacy includes:

Great Grandchildren Courtney Chelew, Bend, OR, Chelsea Chelew, Santa Barbara, CA, Hunter Krell, Gilbert, AZ, Brenyn, Ryland, Parker and Payson, Grzyb, Goodyear, AZ and Joshua, Gianna and Angelina Grzyb, Avondale, AZ.
Great Great Grandchildren Cypress and Zephyr Chelew, Bend, OR.
Visitation will be 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134. A Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11:00 A.M. at Yurs Funeral Home. The private interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Geneva Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory can be made to St Peter Catholic Church in Geneva Illinois.
All who knew Marion will remember her for her sweetness, kindness, and love.
