Obituaries

Mary Ellen Qureshi, age 75, of Batavia passed away December 15, 2020. She was born to William and Agnes Murtagh in LaSalle Peru, Illinois. She loved to draw and paint. She adored her grandkids.

She is survived by her loving husband Mohammed, daughter Mary (Harry Weber) Qureshi of Montgomery, Illinois, Mohammed Qureshi, of Woodstock, Illinois, three grandchildren: Brianne, Sean, and Victoria, sister Mary Agnes (Al) Hashim, of Racho Pales Verde, California,  Rita (Bob) Cerri, of Ogelesby, Illinois, Sarah Pelkey Murtagh, of Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin, brothers: Pete Mueller, of Lake Superior, Wisconsin,  Joe Mueller, of Nevada and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister Mary Catherine (Bob) Current, and William T. Murtagh.

Services will be private, burial will be at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, Illinois.
