Melissa Ann Skow Devoted wife, mother and grandmother Missy ascended on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the young age of 60. She was born on June 18, 1961 at Woodstock Memorial Hospital. She grew up in Crystal Lake until meeting Dann in high school. They wed on May 21, 1983 and had 2 beautiful children. Missy’s life was dedicated to her husband of 38 years, her children and grandchildren along with her 3 cats and many outdoor critters. The impact Missy had on her 4 grandchildren was greatly profound and her memories will be cherished always. Missy leaves behind her husband Dann, her daughter Jenn and husband Lee Chessman, her son Chris and wife Jessica Skow, her grandchildren; Ryan (10 yrs), Olivia (8 yrs), Jackson (7 yrs) and Chloe (4 yrs). She is preceded in death by her parents William and Laura Grant, sister and brother-in-law Carol and Sam Cardella and brother-in-law Leonard Morris. She also leaves behind a sister Barb Morris and nieces and nephews; Shawn, Shanna, Josh, Madison, Mason, Emma and Carter. Missy’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 3-5pm at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 West State Street, Geneva, Il. 60134 |
