Obituaries

Merle D. Perez, age 72, of Geneva, died Friday at Central DuPage Hospital. She was born June 29, 1946 in Nora, Virginia to George and Mae Long.

Mrs. Perez is survived by her three sons, Adolfo (Stephanie) of Miami, Florida, Pete (Ada) of St. Louis, Missouri and Jesse of Aurora, five grandchildren, Aramis, Jesse Jr., Ariana, Aiden and Liam, three great grandchildren, Korbin, Sylas and Quentin, two brothers, Mac Long of Husser, Louisiana and Paul Long of Batavia and one sister, Margaret McCoy of Sneedville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday July 9^th at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Burial will be held > at River Hills Memorial Park Batavia. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
