Rex L.Hauser, age 66, of Geneva, died Wednesday September 25, 2019 at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva.
He was born Janaury 1, 1953 in Elmhurst, Il. The son of the late Laurence and Barbara Hauser.
Rex was an Engineer with the Union Pacific Railroad for 44 years before he retired. He was a member of several organizations including, the Milwaukee Road Historical Association, the NRA Chicago Northwestern Fans Group and the CNW Veterans and Retirees Group.
He is survived by his two sons, Justin of Lebanon, Tennessee, and Jason of DeKalb. One grandson, Jason “J.J.” and his sister, Laurie Sitta of Roselle, Il.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Interment will be private at the family’s cemetery in Iowa. For further information please call Yurs Funeral Home Geneva. 630-232-7337.
