Robert B. Mamoyac, 93, of Batavia, Illinois, formerly of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, died at home January 29, 2025.
He was born April 5, 1931, in Stockton, California to Velma Luella Mamoyac (Connett) and Blas Quesada Mamoyac.
Robert’s family moved to Oregon where he attended Canby High School, lettering in track and football. He met his wife of 70 years, Mary Lou Hayes in Canby. He attended Oregon State University majoring in Industrial Engineering, joined ROTC and upon graduation entered the US Army as an Infantry Officer. He joined United Airlines Management in 1960.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Esmino (Robert) and Dolores Enebrad (Leonard), and is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, children Steven R. Mamoyac (Joy) and Valerie L. Erickson (Lance), grandchildren Derek Mamoyac, Sophia Spaulding, Mark Erickson, Michael Erickson, and great grandchildren.
Services will follow at a later date. He will be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
