Obituaries

Rosalinda Echavez Layden, age 70 of St Charles, IL passed away October 10, 2018 under the care of her daughters. She was born to Paterno Echavez and Felisa Gaite Obach in Iligan City, Philippines. She was a teacher in Iligan City Central School and embarked to United States late 1980’s.

She is survived by her second husband, Mark Layden and children: Kathryn,  Karen (Jovino), Kenneth (Jonah Mae), Karl Von and Kasey (Sam). He will be fondly remembered by her 7 grandchildren naming,  Kelsey, Kole, Kisella, Kearm, Jane, Yanu and Kendra. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers – Evento and Evelio Echavez; and sister – Lorna Ramilo.

Visitation will be held 1:00 PM- 5:00PM, with funeral services to follow at 5:00 P.M.  Saturday, October 13 at Yurs Funeral Home 1771 W. State Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134. Rosalinda wished to be cremated and bring her ashes to Philippines..
