Samuel Gregory Lower, 4, died Friday March 17th 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
The son of Gregory and Melissa Lower, Sam was born on September 14th 2018 in Geneva IL.
Survived by his parents Gregory and Melissa Lower, his brother Jake and sister Claire Lower, his grand parents Gregory Sr and Renee Lower, Darrell Maxey and Laura Maxey, his great grandfather Paul Lower, his Uncle Josh and Aunt Pam, his Uncle Corey and Aunt Beth, cousins Griffin, Will, Emerson, Charlotte and Billy.
He is preceded in death by several great grandparents.
Sam nicknamed “The Bammer” was a beautiful, energetic, and vibrant boy. He adored and looked up to his older siblings Claire and Jake. He enjoyed dancing to music with Claire and wrestling with Jake. Most of Jake’s friends thought of Sam as their little brother and Sam always thought he was “one of the guys”. Sam was fond of garbage trucks like his dad and enjoyed watching videos of all kinds of garbage trucks in action. Unfortunately for his parents, he was also a big fan of Blippi but the whole family enjoyed listening to the “garbage truck” song. Sam played soccer last summer and was looking forward to baseball this spring. For only being four years old, Sam touched the lives of so many in his short life.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:30 am Saturday, March 25th at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 W. State Street, Geneva, IL . A Celebration of life will commence at 11:30 am after visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sam’s memory may be made to the Geneva Community Chest www.genevacommunitychest.org

"We were so shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Sam. We remember watching out our front window as Greg mowed the lawn, and little Sam, with his sunglasses on, pushing his little lawnmower right behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Such a sweet perfect little boy, he will be missed. Your neighbors, Nancy and Tony"
