Stephanie Cheryl Murley Splitt, 76, died on Sunday, Nov,17,2024, at 0540 peacefully. She was greatly loved by her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. Seemed to have an impact on many lives, brought a lot of Joy and Comfort to all the people that knew her. In her profession as an RN, she related to a lot of individuals and practiced compassion, understanding, and Love.
The daughter of Russell and Nellie Montgomery, Stephanie (also known as Steffie) was born on June 18, 1948, in Dekalb. Family of 7 total; 1 Brother, and 3 Sisters.
Survived by Timothy Splitt (Husband), Vicki (Sister) and Dave Thornton (Vicki’s husband); son’s; Eric Murley, and Joel Murley, daughter Sarabeth Murley; 4 grandchildren, and many more family and friends.
Preceded in death by Parents; Russell and Nellie (Ruby) Montgomery; First Husband, Thomas E. Murley, Older brother Russell Montgomery JR, Sisters’ Betty and Carol.
Stephanie really enjoyed sharing her time with everyone, her Husband Tim, her Children, Grandchildren, extended Family and friend’s. Stephanie really enjoyed Crocheting and knitting things, mostly all gifts for others, this brought Joy to her days in Retirement. Her final achievement project was a Yarn Sweater, it took both Vicky and her, but it turned out awesome! She is a Member of Village Bible Church in Aurora, IL where she discovered new Family and Love.
Visitation will be at Yurs Funeral Home on 11/20/24 at 4PM-7PM with Pastor David of Village Bible Church in Aurora, IL. officiating.
