Thomas J. Gorak, age 78, of Elgin passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at the Pearl of Elgin.
He was born March 19, 1948 in Litchfield, Illinois to George and Rosalie Gorak.
Thomas was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local Union #73.
Mr. Gorak is survived by his wife of 57 years, Miqueline, three children, Paula (Alex) Cuatzo, Annette Gorak and Thomas Gorak, two grandchildren, Alex and Julius Cuatzo.
He was preceded by death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 1st at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 West State Street (Rt. 38), Geneva. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
