Alec Joseph Irvine Alec Joseph Irvine

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Alec
Joseph Irvine of St. Charles, IL on March 30, 2025, at the age of 32 years.
God has taken Alec home in his loving arms and he is at peace now.

Alec was known for having a kind and caring heart, a beautiful smile that
would light up the room, competitive team player spirit (travel soccer and
high school lacrosse), and a genuine son, friend, and family member. Alec
was the president of Sigma Chi fraternity and graduated as a business
major from Drake University. He was a well-respected charismatic and
accomplished young man and leader in various roles during his life. But
mostly, he will be missed by those who loved and knew him best.

(Julie), brother Sam & Melissa Irvine (nieces Cameron & Sydney), David
and Stephanie Erdmann (Cousins Paul & Addie), Jon Erdmann (cousin
Henry), Ara Davis, Tim Irvine & Charlie Fisher, John and Becky Irvine
(Cousin Maya), and the Gary & Barb Heiman family.

Alec was predeceased by his beloved grandma Nani Jo (Joanne
Erdmann), Jim and Joan Irvine (grandparents), Fred and Agnes Radandt
(great-grandparents), and John and Thelma Leonard (great-grandparents).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

For now, in memory of Alec, his Mom & Dad invite you to listen to one of
his favorite songs by Phil Collins “Take Me Home.”

Andy Thompson from South Elgin, IL

"Irvine family, I was very sad to read this. I'm terribly sorry for us losing Alec at such a young age. It's been many years since I've seen Alec, but I never forget any players that I've coached. Alec was a wonderful kid when I coached him in High School. He was always respected by his coaches and teammates. Alec treated people well, he was a solid Lacrosse player, and was very consistent with how he conducted himself on and off the Lacrosse field. He was the type of player that would make coaches want to come back and coach another year.-Coach Andy Thompson (St. Charles Lacrosse)"

Spencer Motley from Saint Charles, IL

"Alec and I had sooo many fun times in and out of sports in Highschool. He was smart, charismatic, hilarious, and a joy to be around. He was always up to conquer a challenge no matter how hard it was and had fun doing it. Alec was one of a kind, he would make me cry laughing on the bus, in and out of school, and on the field."

Chrissy sullivan (Stopka) from St Charles , IL

"Heartbroken for your family. I used to babysit Alec. Him and his brother were such great kids. I’ve been thinking about him the last few years as I’ve become a mother and can’t believe I thought it was such a treat to let the kids stay up late. I have good memories of him and am so sad he’s passed."
